— Frequently asked questions

Weddings in Apulia: the answers.

How much does a wedding at Villa Maria cost?

It depends on the number of guests, the season and the menu. We prepare a tailored quote after a visit to the villa, with no obligation: write to us with an approximate date and guest count and we will reply with a detailed proposal.

How many guests can Villa Maria host?

The spaces suit both intimate receptions and large banquets: the period halls and the Belvedere hall host seated service, while the park with gazebos allows larger outdoor settings.

Can we hold a civil ceremony at the villa?

Yes. Villa Maria is the official Municipal House for the celebration of civil ceremonies: the ceremony is fully legally binding and can be set up indoors or outdoors, under the centuries-old pines.

Where is the villa and how do we get there?

Villa Maria is at Via Alberobello 153 in Castellana Grotte (BA), in the heart of the Itria Valley: minutes from Alberobello and Polignano a Mare, about 40 minutes from Bari and its airport. Ample private parking is available.

Is a winter wedding possible?

Yes. The period halls and the fully glazed Belvedere hall overlooking the park make a winter wedding possible with the same scenery, sheltered from the weather. They are also the natural plan B for summer receptions.

Can we visit the villa before deciding?

Of course — we always recommend a site visit. You can book a guided tour of the rooms and the park and discuss your plans in person with our family.
